Deens Orchid Agency is one of the very first Travel Agents established in Maldives. It was registered in October 1980 (No. C132-89), making an entry into the sector at a time when the tourism industry in Maldives was just becoming established.

From then onwards Deens Orchid Agency has been actively involved in promoting tourism in Maldives, with its strongest customer bases in Japan, UK, France and Germany. Additionally, it has arrangements of long standing with travel agents in Singapore, Malaysia, UK and Sri Lanka.

Among the services it offers to clients are arranging bookings at Maldivian resorts, and on Safari trips round the country. Additionally, Airport 'meet and greet' services are also offered to customers, as well as travel agent and tour operating services to individual customers and corporate clients.

The company is a member of many international tourism industry associations such as JATA, PATA and ASTA, as well as local associations such as MTPB and MATI.
